Job description

Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) is looking for an experienced Office Survey Technician to bring technical expertise, leadership, and advanced CADD skills to our growing team. In this role, you will serve as a key technical resource for both office and field staff , using AutoCAD Civil 3D to process field survey data and deliver accurate, high-quality survey deliverables for boundary, topographic, and construction projects .

What You'll Do

  • Lead and support survey drafting and processing efforts
  • Prepare survey maps, plats, as-builts, grading plans, and surface models
  • Process topographic and boundary survey data
  • Develop cut sheets, grade sheets, and survey exhibits
  • Ensure compliance with CADD standards and project requirements
  • Support and coordinate with field crews and junior staff
  • Perform survey research and data organization
  • 4+ years of office survey experience in land development or civil engineering
  • Strong experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Ability to process, draft, and manage survey deliverables independently
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior staff
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
