Coworker
Head of Marketing
Salary
Job description
Position: Head of Marketing Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid/Remote Flexibility) Type: Full-Time Experience: 5-8 Years in Marketing (Mid-Market/Enterprise SaaS Marketing Preferred)
WHY COWORKER?
Coworker is redefining how organizations work with AI. Our platform delivers the chat, cowork, and code capabilities that enterprises need at 80% lower cost with identical output quality. We do this by ensuring through our technology that every task has the right context and model to be completed most effectively. We're a fast-scaling startup with a powerful PLG engine and rapidly growing enterprise pipeline.
THE ROLE
We’re hiring a Head of Marketing to own how Coworker shows up in the market.
This is a high-impact role for someone who has likely been a Head of Marketing or worked directly under a Head of Marketing, VP Marketing, or senior GTM leader at a fast-growing B2B startup and is ready to take on more ownership. You’ll report directly to the CEO and work closely with the Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Growth teams.
You should be equally comfortable writing positioning, launching products, creating sales collateral, interviewing customers, analyzing win/loss patterns, and getting into the details of campaigns, website copy, and content. This role is for someone who can set direction and execute.
The right person has experience in a company that scaled from Series A to Series C, understands both self-serve / PLG motions and enterprise sales, and wants to help build the marketing foundation for a category-defining company.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own Coworker’s core positioning, messaging, and narrative across audiences, use cases, and buyer personas
- Lead go-to-market planning for new product launches, feature releases, and strategic announcements
- Partner with Sales to develop clear messaging for technical and business buyers
- Own product marketing campaigns end-to-end, including onboarding, in-product messaging and lifecycle marketing
- Partner with Sales, Growth and Customer Success to understand what wins deals, what blocks adoption, and where messaging needs to improve
- Develop content that supports pipeline generation, product education, thought leadership, and customer expansion
- Bonus: if you have hands-on experience with content marketing, growth marketing, lifecycle, SEO, or campaign execution.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience: 5–8+ years of experience in product marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS/Enterprise AI
- Series A to C experience: You've scaled product marketing at a high-growth startup from early revenue to $10M+ ARR
- PLG + Enterprise fluency: You've marketed self-serve products that also sell into enterprise
- Technical fluency: You have a track record of turning complex products into clear, differentiated positioning
- Builder mentality: You're comfortable with ambiguity, willing to write the copy yourself, and excited to hire and manage a team as we grow
- Cross-functional operator: You add great value in an engineering standup, a sales pipeline review, and a content brainstorm
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience at a Series A/B/C SaaS startup
- Experience with content marketing or growth marketing: writing blog posts, performing funnel analysis
- Experience with platform/multi-product solutions
- Familiarity with Enterprise AI landscape and competitive positioning
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Salary: $160,000–$220,000
- Equity: Extremely generous early-stage equity
- Benefits: Health/dental/vision, 401(k), unlimited PTO
