[Freelance] Data Engineer/Architect

PERGOLUX is looking for an experienced Data Engineer / Architect to help build the foundation of our operations data platform.

Today, key operational data lives across Odoo (ERP), Canary7 (WMS), and Shiptify (TMS), with limited integration into Snowflake. We need someone who can quickly understand these systems, identify the most important business metrics, design a scalable data model, and build the foundation required for reliable operational reporting.

THE ENGAGEMENT

• Freelance contract (~2 months)
• Remote, primarily asynchronous
• Direct collaboration with operations and leadership teams
• Discovery, architecture, and implementation ownership
• Start ASAP

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

• Inventory, warehouse, fulfillment, and logistics data across multiple markets
• Defining and documenting key operational metrics
• Designing a scalable data model across Odoo, Canary7, and Shiptify
• Building production-ready pipelines and models in Snowflake/dbt
• Creating a foundation that enables leadership to answer operational questions with confidence

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH

• 5+ years of data engineering and data modelling experience
• Strong SQL, Python, and dbt skills
• Hands-on Snowflake experience (or similar cloud data warehouse)
• Experience integrating multiple operational systems (ERP, WMS, TMS, etc.)
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and move quickly

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with Odoo, Canary7, or Shiptify
• E-commerce, logistics, supply chain, or DTC experience
• Experience designing semantic layers or business metric frameworks
