About the Role
Our client is hiring an engineering-focused Vehicle Technician, Level 3 to support fleet readiness, advanced vehicle maintenance, repair execution, and lab operations in a fast-paced autonomous vehicle environment. This role is ideal for a highly hands-on technician who can independently diagnose complex issues, execute repairs with minimal supervision, and help maintain a high standard of operational readiness across the fleet.
You will work closely with technicians, engineers, and operations partners to resolve escalated vehicle issues, improve repair quality, and identify opportunities to streamline service workflows. This is an in-person overnight role supporting both vehicle uptime and the broader day-to-day functionality of the lab and facility environment.

Responsibilities
•
Perform advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repair work across fleet vehicles with minimal supervision
•
Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, vehicle communication, and high-voltage system issues
•
Use advanced diagnostic tools, including CANalyzer and related software, to capture, analyze, and interpret vehicle logs and data
•
Lead complex repairs and support technical escalations across the technician team
•
Mentor and provide technical guidance to Level 1 and Level 2 technicians
•
Identify opportunities to improve repair processes, tooling, and serviceability
•
Provide feedback on repair procedures and work instructions to help improve execution quality
•
Partner with engineering and operations teams on root cause analysis, reliability improvements, and escalations
•
Support vehicle readiness and repair coordination across the fleet
•
Assist with lab operations, facility fit and function, and general upkeep activities as needed
Qualifications for Success
Minimum Requirements
•
4+ years of automotive experience
•
Advanced diagnostic capability across mechanical and electrical vehicle systems
•
Experience troubleshooting complex system-level issues
•
Ability to perform all repair types independently with minimal supervision
•
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment
•
Ability to work an overnight shift in an in-person setting in Las Vegas, Nevada
Preferred Qualifications
•
Automotive degree or trade school certificate
•
ASE certification(s)
•
Experience with vehicle communication diagnostics and data logging tools such as CANalyzer
•
Experience supporting high-voltage vehicle systems
•
Prior experience mentoring junior technicians
