The unique OpenDoor partnership model is built to deliver next-level Productivity, fueled by our industry-leading approach to People, Platforms, and Process. OpenDoor spans across all WPP agencies and disciplines such as media, business consultancy, communications and brand strategy, tech and commerce, public relations, and production.

Together, when WPP's Creative Transformation meets Amazon's next-level customer centricity, our people come together to challenge and impact what's done today and build a better future.
By joining OpenDoor, not only are you joining a cross-function team partnering with one of WPP's top five global clients, but you are also taking a step to challenge yourself and the world around you every day, working in the most unusual way on some of Earth's most ambitious opportunities in marketing, tech, media, business, and creativity.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are searching for an exceptional, analytically ambitious, and innovation-oriented leader to join our OpenDoor team as Director, Insights & Measurement – Prime Video EU. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract position covering a period of maternity leave, based in London. The role reports into the Global Lead Measurement with a dotted line into the EU Lead Measurement X-LOBS.
This is a high-impact interim leadership opportunity for a senior measurement professional who is ready to step into a fully formed, strategically significant role from day one — and who brings the curiosity and technical ambition to leave it in a better place than they found it. The Director, Insights & Measurement will inherit an established framework, a senior stakeholder network, and a live EU portfolio, and will be expected to lead with full accountability for the duration of the contract.
What makes this role distinctive is its position at the frontier of AI-assisted measurement. The OpenDoor measurement team has already developed a suite of proprietary AI agents — including a Brand Lift Study Agent that automates the synthesis and interpretation of BLS outputs, and a Cultural Reflex Agent that tracks and contextualises cultural signals around title launches in real time. The Director, Insights & Measurement will be an active user and champion of these tools from day one, and is expected to develop and deploy at least one new agent capability during the course of the contract — contributing directly to the team's growing library of measurement intelligence infrastructure.
Prime Video is Amazon's entertainment destination for movies, series, documentaries, and live sport. The PV marketing division delivers all communications for the platform, including large tentpole titles such as The Boys and The Rings of Power, regional content, live sport properties such as the Premier League and the NBA, and large-scale brand campaigns. OpenDoor is PV's media partner everywhere in the world except North America and Latin America, making it one of the most substantial and strategically significant partnerships in Amazon's global marketing operation.
This role operates at the intersection of Paid Media, Brand, Creative, Cultural impact, and AI-assisted intelligence — translating multi-signal complexity into clear, executive-ready title narratives that directly shape investment and creative decisions across the EU portfolio. The scope is pan-EU with direct influence on global measurement practice.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Own and Evolve the Title-Level PCA Framework
- Lead the design, application, and ongoing development of Post Campaign Analysis frameworks across single titles, dual-benefit campaigns, and multi-title launch windows
- Translate complex, multi-signal environments — spanning paid media, brand equity, attention, and audience outcomes — into clear decision narratives for senior stakeholders
- Define interpretation guardrails and maintain methodological rigour across all PCA outputs, ensuring consistency of approach across EU markets
- Act as the internal authority on when and how PCA-based analysis should inform title-level and portfolio-level decisions
- Leverage the team's existing AI agents — including the BLS Agent and Cultural Reflex Agent — to accelerate insight synthesis and improve the speed and depth of PCA outputs
Integrate Paid Media, Brand Lift & Creative Signals
- Integrate paid media performance data, Brand Lift Study outputs, and creative diagnostic findings into unified title insights, using the BLS Agent as a core tool for automated output synthesis and pattern identification across studies
- Use integrated findings to inform creative optimisation recommendations, support media weighting decisions, and improve the effectiveness of future title launches
- Partner with planning and activation teams to ensure measurement outputs are embedded into forward planning cycles, not treated as retrospective reporting
- Establish clear KPI frameworks and success definitions at the outset of each campaign, ensuring measurement is a consideration from strategy through to activation
Embed Brand Health, Competition & Market Context
- In close partnership with the EU Lead Measurement, integrate brand health data sources — including YouGov BrandIndex, BAV, and relevant regional trackers — into the title insights framework
- Map competitive dynamics and Share of Voice vs Share of Market movements as a standing context layer for title performance interpretation
- Deploy the Cultural Reflex Agent to surface real-time cultural signals, social momentum, and sentiment patterns that contextualise title performance beyond paid media metrics
- Use these signals to sharpen investment recommendations and flag where brand equity, cultural dynamics, or competitive pressure materially affects title trajectory
- Ensure EU market-level nuance is preserved within pan-regional frameworks, and that local insight informs global understanding
Lead AI Agent Development and Measurement Innovation
- Serve as the measurement team's innovation lead for AI agent development, bringing both the technical curiosity and the strategic clarity to identify where new agent capability would create the highest value
- Design, develop, and deploy at least one new AI agent during the course of the contract — whether focused on audience insight synthesis, title performance prediction, competitive monitoring, or another high-value measurement application — in collaboration with the wider OpenDoor technology and data team
- Maintain and extend the existing BLS Agent and Cultural Reflex Agent as the EU portfolio evolves, identifying opportunities to improve their accuracy, coverage, and utility
- Act as an internal evangelist for AI-assisted measurement, educating stakeholders across the OpenDoor and Prime Video teams on what agent-led approaches make possible and where human judgement remains irreplaceable
- Document agent development processes, use cases, and outputs to contribute to OpenDoor's growing library of measurement infrastructure and reusable AI tooling
Own Quarterly and Annual Executive Reporting
- Lead the production and delivery of a Quarterly Executive Report covering single-title PCAs, key performance drivers, emerging risks, and prioritised opportunities across the EU portfolio
- Own an annual deep-dive programme covering up to eight "Big Bet" titles, incorporating PCA outputs, paid media and brand lift findings, creative effectiveness, social listening, cultural impact data, and AI agent-generated intelligence
- Deliver annual deep-dives in close collaboration with the Global Lead Measurement for Prime Video, ensuring EU findings ladder into global strategic frameworks
- Distil complexity into clear, confident narratives — what is performing, what is not, and precisely what should change
Partner with Strategy & Planning to Close the Loop
- Work hand in hand with the Strategy and Planning team to translate PCA findings into actionable audience insights and concrete recommendations for future title campaigns
- Ensure that learning from completed campaigns directly shapes audience targeting strategy, channel prioritisation, and creative briefing for upcoming launches
- Act as the connective tissue between measurement and planning — making PCA outputs a living input to the planning process, not a post-event artefact
- Co-develop audience insight frameworks with Strategy and Planning that evolve continuously as title performance data accumulates across the EU portfolio, and identify where agent-generated intelligence can accelerate the feedback loop between measurement and planning
Lead with Influence Across Functions and Geographies
- Operate within a matrixed structure, reporting into the Global Lead Measurement and maintaining a dotted-line relationship with the EU Lead Measurement X-LOBS, with accountability to both for quality, consistency, and strategic alignment
- Influence senior decision-makers across Marketing, Content, Creative, and Media functions, acting as a trusted thought partner on title-level investment and strategy
- Build alignment between local EU insight and global Prime Video priorities, ensuring measurement findings travel effectively across organisational boundaries
- Contribute to the development of measurement playbooks, learning agendas, and best practice frameworks that raise the standard of title insights across the OpenDoor network
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
At WPP Media, we believe in the power of our culture and our people. It's what elevates us to deliver exceptional experiences for both our clients and each other. In this role it will be critical to embrace WPP & WPP Media's shared core values:
- Be Extraordinary by Leading Collectively to Inspire transformational Creativity
- Create an Open environment by Balancing People and Client Experiences by Cultivating Trust
- Lead Optimistically by Championing Growth and Development to Mobilise the Enterprise
We are looking for:
- Demonstrable Director-level experience in advanced measurement, marketing effectiveness, or audience analytics, ideally within entertainment, content streaming, or a similarly complex media environment
- Deep expertise in multivariate analytical methods, with hands-on experience applying Post Campaign Analysis or equivalent dimensionality-reduction frameworks to real-world marketing problems
- Strong working knowledge of paid media measurement, Brand Lift Study design and interpretation, and creative effectiveness diagnostics, with the ability to integrate these signals into cohesive title-level narratives
- Active familiarity with AI agent frameworks and large language model applications in a measurement or analytics context — this role requires genuine hands-on engagement with AI tooling, not theoretical awareness
- Demonstrable experience building, deploying, or materially contributing to AI-assisted analytical tools, whether agent-based, automated reporting pipelines, or predictive modelling solutions
- Proven ability to translate analytical complexity into clear, executive-ready communication — written, verbal, and visual — without sacrificing intellectual rigour
- Experience working in or alongside matrixed, multi-regional organisations, with the ability to hold both local and global perspectives simultaneously and influence across both
- Familiarity with brand health measurement platforms and competitive intelligence tools, including YouGov BrandIndex, BAV, Brandwatch, or equivalent sources
- Strong commercial instinct, with a track record of connecting measurement outputs to meaningful investment and strategic decisions
- Experience leading, mentoring, and developing measurement or analytics talent across teams
- Proven ability to onboard quickly into an established programme and lead with full accountability from an early stage — given the fixed-term nature of this role, the ability to hit the ground running is essential
BONUS POINTS
- Experience working on tentpole or event-level entertainment titles, where multi-signal measurement environments and compressed timelines are the norm
- Active engagement with industry bodies such as the IPA Effectiveness Group, MRS, or the Media Research Group
- A track record of producing thought leadership or presenting at industry forums on topics related to media effectiveness, brand measurement, advanced analytics, or AI applications in marketing
- Familiarity with social listening and cultural impact measurement as complements to traditional media and brand metrics
- Experience developing or working with agentic AI solutions for real-time monitoring, synthesis, or prediction in a marketing context
- Previous experience in a maternity cover or fixed-term senior role, demonstrating the ability to lead with confidence and deliver lasting impact within a defined timeframe
