The Supply Chain Department is responsible for supporting Food & Beverage, Lodging, and Engineering & Facilities operations through sourcing, purchasing, warehousing, and distribution of goods across Yellowstone National Park. The team ensures timely access to materials while supporting sustainability, cost control, and operational excellence.
Job Summary
The R&M Inventory Coordinator is responsible for maintaining an accurate, well-organized inventory system for the Gardiner R&M Warehouse and supporting maintenance operations across all locations. This role manages storeroom reorders within the CMMS system, ensures timely and accurate receiving and stocking of materials, and prepares shipments for distribution to various maintenance storerooms. The position also assists with resolving order discrepancies, supports warehouse unloading activities, and participates in the annual physical inventory.
The Details: Position Type: Seasonal Season Dates: June 2026 to Mid-November 2026 Pay: $24.00/hourly Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities
- Maintains an accurate and organized inventory item system in the Gardiner R&M and F&B Warehouse.
- Runs all location maintenance storeroom reorders in CMMS system; accurately and efficiently picks items and prepares for shipment.
- Physically receives all R&M or F&B orders from vendors; verifies accuracy of receipts and stocks in appropriate R&M Warehouse bins or prepares for shipment to location storerooms.
- Completes purchase order receipts in the CMMS system.
- Assists resolving all issues created by back orders, incorrect shipments, substitutions, and freight or damage problems.
- Assists with receiving and unloading delivery trucks in the absence of Warehouse personnel.
- Performs the annual physical inventory count of the R&M Warehouse.
- Performs R&M Purchasing Agent duties upon his/her absence.
- Maintains a spirit of cooperation within the department and throughout the Company.
- Responsible for adhering to Xanterra’s Ecologix program.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must have knowledge of engineering and maintenance-type materials and the suppliers for these materials.
- Must possess good communication, organization, computer and general accounting skills.
- Must have a basic knowledge of facility maintenance and construction procedures.
- Must be able to safely operate a pallet jack and forklift.
- Must have the knowledge to comply with all current safety and health requirements.
- Must be able to read, understand and comply with all Company policies and procedures.
- Must be at least 21 years old and possess a current, valid, driver’s license with a good driving record for the past 3 years.
Physical Requirements include
- Ability to work in confined spaces and at elevations over 6,000 ft.
- Walk up to 0.5 miles over uneven terrain; climb stairs and ladders.
- Lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
- Perform heavy labor outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
