Responsibilities
Delivery Accountability
•
Own end-to-end delivery accountability for US Commercial Bronze and Silver data products across multiple delivery squads.
•
Coordinate delivery activities across squads, chapters, and supporting competencies (QA, Reliability, DevOps).
•
Ensure predictable delivery outcomes aligned with agreed priorities, milestones, and capacity commitments.
•
Act as the primary escalation point for delivery risks, cross-team dependencies, and execution blockers.
Planning and Alignment
•
Support PI planning, backlog alignment, and dependency management in a scaled agile / SAFe delivery environment.
•
Take over operational ownership of the modernized US Commercial data platform on Databricks once migration activities are completed.
•
Ensure the platform is stable, observable, and fit for continuous Bronze and Silver data delivery.
•
Work with Architecture, Reliability, and Platform teams to ensure operational standards, monitoring, and support processes are in place.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation
•
Drive continuous improvement of data pipelines and products within the boundaries of established platform and governance standards.
•
Drive and encourage AI-enabled delivery methods across US data delivery, including automation, assisted development, and intelligent quality checks, in line with chapter standards and governance.
•
Promote the use of AI to improve delivery efficiency, consistency, and time-to-value across Bronze and Silver data pipelines.
•
Work with Architecture and Platform teams to ensure AI-enabled approaches are applied responsibly, aligned with enterprise compliance, data governance, and observability requirements.
•
Encourage experimentation and adoption of new delivery patterns and tooling that support scalable, repeatable, and AI-ready data foundations.
Strategy and Communication
•
Co-create and maintain the US Commercial data domain strategy together with Data & Information Architecture and Gold Analytics stakeholders.
•
Ensure Bronze and Silver data products are aligned to clearly defined Gold use cases and business outcomes.
•
Translate the domain strategy into clear delivery priorities and execution plans for delivery squads.
•
Promote reuse, consistency, and standard data patterns across the US Commercial domain.
•
Serve as the main point of contact for the Domain Analysis & Planning team, responsible for intaking, structuring, and planning requirements into delivery in close cooperation with Bronze and Silver layer leads.
•
Communicate delivery status, risks, and trade-offs clearly and transparently to stakeholders.
•
Align delivery priorities with adjacent domains (e.g., Market Access, Forecasting) where data dependencies exist.
Governance and Compliance
•
Ensure data governance, lineage, and quality standards are consistently applied across all US Commercial Bronze and Silver pipelines.
•
Enforce adherence to SDLC, audit, and compliance requirements where applicable.
•
Partner with QA and Reliability teams to improve data quality, incident response, and operational resilience.
Requirements
•
Experience leading or coordinating data delivery across multiple squads or teams in an enterprise environment.
•
Strong understanding of data platforms and analytics delivery, including Bronze / Silver / Gold concepts.
•
Experience working with cloud data platforms, preferably Databricks or equivalent technologies.
•
Proven ability to drive delivery through influence and coordination, without relying on formal line management.
•
Experience working in scaled agile delivery models.
•
Strong communication skills, able to work effectively with technical, analytical, and business stakeholders.
•
Experience working in global, distributed teams across multiple time zones.
•
Experience in US Commercial, Market Access, or Life Sciences data domains is preferred.
