Job description

The All Day Dining Server provides attentive and personalized service to guests dining at the all-day dining establishment. The All Day Dining Server takes orders recommends menu items, and ensures the timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages. They possess extensive knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and dietary restrictions, in order to assist guests with their choices. With a warm and professional demeanor, the server creates a welcoming atmosphere, addresses guest inquiries and concerns, and anticipates their needs throughout the dining experience. By delivering seamless service, the All Day Dining Server contributes to the hotel's reputation for luxury and hospitality, leaving guests with unforgettable culinary memories and a desire to return. 

 

  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional education, training, or certification in Hospitality, Food & Beverage Service, or a related field is an advantage.
     
  • Work Experience: Previous experience in the food and beverage industry, particularly within a hotel, fine dining restaurant, or luxury hospitality environment, is preferred.
     
  • Guest Service Skills: Exceptional guest service skills are essential. Candidates should demonstrate a genuine passion for creating memorable dining experiences through personalized, attentive, and professional service while consistently exceeding guest expectations.
     
  • Knowledge of Food and Beverage: A solid understanding of food and beverage service standards, menu offerings, ingredients, preparation methods, and beverage pairings is important. Familiarity with dietary restrictions, allergens, and special guest requests is highly beneficial.
     
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills are required. The ability to interact confidently and courteously with guests, accurately take orders, provide recommendations, and respond effectively to inquiries is essential.
     
  • Teamwork: The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple departments is crucial. All Day Dining Servers must coordinate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, supervisors, and fellow team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
     
  • Attention to Detail: A high level of attention to detail is necessary to ensure order accuracy, proper table setup, service consistency, and adherence to luxury hospitality standards. Maintaining cleanliness and presentation throughout the dining experience is equally important.
     
  • Adaptability and Stress Management: Candidates must be able to perform effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ability to remain composed under pressure, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing operational needs is essential.
     
  • Physical Stamina: The role requires standing and walking for extended periods, carrying trays, and moving efficiently throughout the restaurant. Physical stamina and the ability to meet the demands of a busy dining operation are important.
     
  • Health and Safety Knowledge: Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices is required to maintain a clean and safe dining environment. Familiarity with health regulations and safe food handling procedures is essential.
     
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, is required to support operational needs.
     
  • Language Skills: Good command of spoken and written English is preferred. Additional language skills are considered an advantage in serving an international clientele.
