As part of our Food & Beverage team for 2-3 months, you'll soak in the park's natural beauty and provide legendary hospitality to our guests in this extraordinary setting.

Job Summary

As a Host , you would be responsible for greeting guests, accepting reservations, organizing wait-lists and seating charts to maintain smooth dining room flow.

The Details: Position Type: Seasonal Season Dates: Early August - October 15th Pay: $16.25/hour Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests, accept reservations, organize wait-lists and seating charts to maintain smooth dining room flow. Develop and maintain positive communication with Servers, Server Assistants, and the Manager on duty in the dining room.

Qualifications

  • Ability to organize and prioritize under pressure while maintaining a calm and pleasant demeanor.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests, co-workers, and supervisors.
  • Ability to absorb large amounts of information quickly: Service procedures, beverage and food menus as appropriate, operation of point of sales system.
  • Knowledge of menu, specials and features.
  • Knowledge of basic sanitation.
  • Certification in the TIPS alcohol awareness program is required. Workshops will be provided if not currently certified.

Physical Requirements include

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time, approximately 8 hours.
  • Must be able to walk for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, and reach for extended periods of time.
