The Opportunity

NORRIQ is seeking a Senior/Medior Consultant with expertise in the lending domain , focusing on delivering strategic solutions for financial institutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lending processes, loan origination systems, and credit risk management, coupled with the ability to drive transformation projects. This is a unique opportunity to lead impactful initiatives for our clients while contributing to NORRIQ’s thought leadership in lending.

Roles & Responsibilities

Client-side

Collaborate with Agile cross-functional teams to deliver strategic projects in the lending domain, including:

Guide clients in embedding AI agents across the lending lifecycle, driving smarter automation and improved customer outcomes.

Streamlining credit assessment and approval workflows to improve operational outcomes and align with best practices.

Ensuring compliance with EBA Guidelines on Loan Origination and Monitoring (EBA GL/2020/06), integrating robust governance, risk assessment, and creditworthiness principles into lending processes.

Incorporating ESG considerations into lending strategies to meet sustainability goals, align with regulatory expectations, and drive competitive advantage.

Enhancing credit pricing frameworks, ensuring they reflect risk-adjusted returns, regulatory compliance, and the integration of ESG factors

Engage with stakeholders to gather and analyze lending-related business needs, translating them into detailed requirements and functional specifications.

Conduct gap analyses to identify opportunities for enhancing lending platforms, processes, and compliance frameworks.

Act as a trusted advisor to clients, leveraging your expertise in lending to guide decision-making and drive success.

Internal Responsibilities

Contribute to NORRIQ’s thought leadership in lending by conducting market research, developing proposals, and supporting business development activities.

Share knowledge within the team through training and coaching sessions, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Profile

Experience & Skills

Minimum 3 years of experience in roles such as Business Analyst, Lending Expert, or Credit Analyst within the financial sector.

In-depth knowledge of lending processes, systems (e.g., loan origination and servicing), and credit risk management.

Proven ability to manage and engage diverse stakeholders, ensuring alignment between lending business needs, technical solutions, and regulatory requirements.

Demonstrated expertise in process improvement and system optimization within the lending domain.

Proficient in Agile methodologies and experienced in working within cross-functional teams.

Languages

English and Dutch or French (with at least a passive knowledge of the other language).

Soft Skills

Strong communicator with an analytical approach, proactive mindset, and collaborative team spirit.

Skilled in time management, adaptability, and fostering stakeholder relationships.
