Due to our growth, we are currently seeking a Delivery Driver to join our Toronto team.

Unfortunately, this position is not open to international candidates

You must have Canadian experience in construction-related deliveries.

Summary

The Delivery Driver is responsible for ensuring that their cargo is delivered to the correct destination, on time, and safely. He collaborates with members of other teams to maximize his workload.

Main Responsibilities

Maintain a work environment based on respect, mutual support, and collaboration. Comply with all applicable road safety standards and laws. Deliver and return materials, tools, and equipment necessary for the successful completion of projects. Complete all necessary transport documentation. Ensure all vehicles used are inspected according to applicable standards and laws, and inform the Delivery Service Manager accordingly. Keep his vehicle clean and organized (interior/exterior) at all times. Actively participate in various meetings. Actively participate in the cyclical and annual inventory counts. All other related tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education/Experience

Hold a Class 5-3-1 driver's license, as required for the position. Hold a high school diploma or equivalent (or other relevant training). Have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar role. Trailer experience (an asset) Forklift operator's license (an asset)

Knowledge
