Overview Knight Frank are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and hardworking individual with a flexible attitude and variable skill set to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for real estate, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of the commercial property market. As a Commercial Agent, you will be responsible for developing commercial agency business instructions, facilitating property transactions, fostering client relationships, and maximizing opportunities within the Knight Frank service line offering. Responsibilities u Understand the Knight Frank business and have a sound business knowledge within this market sector. u Obtain instructions within agreed guidelines to achieve agreed business targets. u Network and business generate. u Research accurately and present this information in writing to a professional standard. u Business development, setting goals and creating a strategy to achieve those goals. u Refer business leads or other potential fee earning opportunities into other parts of the regional and global business. u Develop comprehensive marketing strategies to promote properties to potential buyers or tenants. u Showcase properties through various mediums such as online listings, office tours, presentations, and networking events including overseeing the preparation of leasing particulars, videos and online collateral/listings. u Undertake the efficient administration of all procedures in carrying out business. u Manage your own workload and support the department head’s workload. u Prepare and maintain up-to-date and accurate records. u Draft and navigate around heads of terms without any oversight. u Navigate and advise on the commercial elements of a lease contract and have a sound understanding of the clauses which impact lease value. u Create a plan, advice on occupancy absorption and be able to formulate a clear leasing strategy (existing and future office developments) which may include repurposing existing space. u Report to landlords and provide regular updates. u Build and maintain goodwill, confidentiality and trust with prospective and existing clients at all times in order to foster the professional image of the Partnership. u Communicate fully with all stakeholders concerned to ensure that business is managed in an efficient and professional manner. u Perform other tasks as required. Skills and Qualifications u Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent work experience). u Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Senior Leasing Executive and have a track record of completing lease renewals, new lettings and lease disposals with an existing client network of office occupiers, law firms, and accountancy and technology professional services. u Experience working with both tenant/occupiers and landlords. u Sound understanding of the office market, current rents, trends, and incentives. u Solid understanding of the local upcoming office supply, existing vacancies and tenants who have active requirements. u International experience is beneficial. u Excellent communication and presentation skills. u Ability to work collaboratively with team members. u Ability to take initiative and work proactively. u Drive to succeed in a competitive marketplace. u The ability to understand and make use of computers and information technology (KF Internal Systems). u Understanding of regional business culture and regulations. u Certifications and Licenses: MRICS or on APC pathway preferable. u Software: Microsoft Office programs to a proficient level. u Language skills: Fluency in English. Fluency in Arabic or other languages advantageous. u Travel: Flexible attitude towards travelling.
