Job Title: Fund Manager – Category III AIF Location: Ahmedabad CTC: ₹18 – ₹25 LPA Experience Required: 2 – 5 Years Must-Have: NISM Series XIX-E Certification (Mandatory) About the Role We are seeking a highly analytical and market-driven Fund Manager to manage and scale a Category III Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) focused on long-short equity strategies. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in portfolio management, derivatives, hedging techniques, risk management, and regulatory compliance under SEBI AIF regulations. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, make investment decisions, and contribute directly to fund performance and investor confidence. Requirements Key Responsibilities Portfolio Management Manage and monitor long-short equity portfolios across sectors and market conditions. Generate investment ideas through fundamental and quantitative research. Execute trades while maintaining adherence to approved investment mandates. Continuously track portfolio performance and optimize risk-adjusted returns. Risk Management & Hedging Develop and implement hedging strategies using derivatives and other market instruments. Monitor portfolio exposure, leverage levels, and market risks. Ensure robust risk management practices across all investment activities. Evaluate macroeconomic and market developments impacting portfolio performance. Investor Reporting & Fund Operations Prepare periodic investor reports, fund updates, and performance presentations. Coordinate NAV calculations and disclosure requirements. Support investor communication with accurate and timely fund information. Assist in fund audits and operational reviews when required. Compliance & Regulatory Oversight Ensure compliance with SEBI Category III AIF regulations and investment guidelines. Coordinate with compliance, legal, and operations teams to maintain regulatory adherence. Stay updated on regulatory changes impacting AIFs, PMS structures, and capital markets. Maintain proper documentation and reporting standards. Good to Have CFA Charterholder / CFA Candidate. MBA in Finance from a reputed institute. Benefits Why Join?
