Complete guest log daily Can perform guest and supplies inventory Completing all opening, closing and hygiene checklists. Ensure that reservations of the day match the dining set - up per table. Respond to all guest inquiries received via email and SMS Taking guest preferences when communicated, and up-selling whenever possible Print menus for the restaurant including special artwork requests from guests. Ensure all promotional collaterals are up to date such as LED display, website, bill talkers and table talkers Memorize menu, daily specials and monthly promotions Can helpfully provide reservation details to service and culinary team Escort guest to their preferred or allocated table Ensure all hygiene standards and procedures are met. Requirements Outstanding communication skills College Degree or Vocational Courses - open for fresh graduates. Any hotel or retaurant experience is an advantage Can administer cashiering functions after completion of the training Working knowledge of relevant available systems such as Microsoft, Birchstreet, Agylysis, Opentable, etc.
