Job description

Ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and regulations throughout the construction process Identify and assess risks associated with construction projects, implement strategies to mitigate risks, and minimize potential financial losses. Review and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations, negotiate pricing, and recommend the most cost-effective solutions. Manage project budgets throughout all phases, from initial estimates to final account, tracking costs, and ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints. Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects and monitor project costs and expenditures. Support tendering, procurement, and contract administration activities throughout project execution. Provide expert advice on procurement, risk management and cost-saving measures Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in tall building, high-rise, and mixed-use construction projects.Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost estimation, and preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and Budget Plans (RAB). Familiar with contract law, construction contracts, tender processes, and subcontract administration. Proficient Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and SketchUp. Good understanding of construction methodologies, project management principles, sustainability practices, and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations. Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively to meet tight deadlines.
