Job description

We are looking for highly organized candidate for the position of Front Desk Supervisor.

The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the resort's front desk, ensuring exceptional guest service and smooth check-in/check-out experiences. This role supervises front desk staff, coordinates guest services, resolves customer concerns, and supports resort management in achieving high guest satisfaction standards. The Front Desk Supervisor serves as a key point of contact for guests and helps maintain a welcoming, professional, and hospitality-focused environment consistent with the beach resort's brand and service standards.

The best Front Desk Supervisor will have tremendous patience when dealing with desk agents and guests. They will accommodate their every need with enthusiasm and poise.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting guests upon arrival and making them feel welcome
  • Recognizing repeat, VIP status and/or loyalty
  • Administering check-ins and check-outs
  • Providing front desk services to guests
  • Assigning rooms and taking care of administrative duties
  • Delivering mail and messages
  • Processing guest payments
  • Coordinating with bell service and staff management
  • Being a source of information to guests on various matters such as transport and restaurant advice
  • Accommodating general and unique requests
  • Diffusing conflict or tense situations with guests, handling guest opportunities

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Conflict resolution experience
  • Patience and good listening skills
