Location: Limerick (regional role – travel required) Job Type: Full-time Salary: Competitive, plus bonus Benefits: Pension scheme We are currently recruiting for an Area Manager to oversee multiple commercial and residential cleaning contracts in Limerick and surrounding areas. This role requires an experienced individual with strong leadership skills and a solid background in the cleaning industry.

Key Responsibilities Manage and supervise multiple cleaning contracts across assigned sites Build and maintain effective client relationships, ensuring service standards and KPIs are achieved Conduct regular site visits, audits, and performance reviews Support business development activities, including site surveys and pricing Lead, organise, and support cleaning teams, ensuring efficient service delivery Mobilise new contracts and oversee implementation Monitor attendance, timesheets, holiday requests, and employee performance Allocate workloads and ensure productivity and quality standards are met Manage stock levels and ensure correct use of cleaning materials and equipment Deliver induction and on-the-job training to cleaning operatives Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements on all client sites Work with HR on disciplinary and performance-related matters in line with company policies Carry out audits in line with service level agreements (SLAs) Requirements Previous management experience within the cleaning industry (essential) Strong knowledge of cleaning operations and standards Good organisational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Full, clean driving licence (essential) Additional Information This is a mobile role requiring travel between sites Applicants must have a good command of the English language.
