A Hands-On Role Supporting Everyday Independence

This Care Support Worker role offers the opportunity to work directly with individuals with intellectual disabilities in a structured and supportive environment.

The focus is on providing consistent, day-to-day support, helping individuals build confidence, maintain routines, and engage in everyday activities that support independence and wellbeing.

Working alongside Social Care Workers and a wider team, this role plays a key part in delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

What You’ll Be Doing Supporting individuals with daily routines and personal development Encouraging independence and participation in everyday activities Assisting with community engagement and social interaction Providing consistent, reliable support in a structured setting Promoting dignity, respect, and individual choice Working closely with Social Care Workers and multidisciplinary teams Following care plans and HIQA-aligned standards

What You’ll Bring Relevant qualification (Social Care, Healthcare, or related discipline preferred) Experience in care, support, or healthcare environments A practical, people-focused approach Strong understanding of safeguarding and professional practice Manual Handling & First Aid (or willingness to update)
