Overview
As a volunteer complementary therapist or wellbeing practitioner, you are an equal and valued member of the team, supporting service users by delivering a wide range of therapies and practices that promote wellbeing.
Our service users’ health and wellbeing are important to us, so you will play a pivotal role in supporting healthier lifestyles by developing relaxation, resilience, and connection between mind and body.
Responsibilities
We welcome individuals offering any type of complementary, holistic, creative or wellbeing-based practice (e.g. massage, reiki, breathwork, sound healing, beauty/nails, movement, mindfulness, or other approaches that support wellbeing).
As a qualified or experienced practitioner, you will be expected to carry out appropriate screening for health conditions and discuss expectations prior to sessions. Following training/induction, you will support improving social and emotional wellbeing and help provide a holistic and flexible approach to treatment , both in 1:1 and group settings .
This is a flexible, ad hoc volunteer role , and you can contribute sessions as regularly or occasionally as your availability allows, across Hastings and/or Eastbourne.
