Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated Associate to join our India team in providing comprehensive Energy Tax Incentives services to clients in the United States. As an Associate, you will work closely with senior team members to support various aspects of the energy incentives process, including data collection, analysis, calculations, documentation, and writing reports

Responsibilities

  • Researches, gathers data and analyzes energy incentives tax matters and financial reports.• Prepares reports, findings and other documents as required.• Performs special tax projects for clients as needed.• Communicates with clients, the IRS and other business professionals as needed.• Understands and applies work procedures and effectively tailors plans as necessary.• Maintains awareness of general business trends and issues, and applies that knowledge to client issues and solutions.• Ensures timely and accurate performance on assigned projects.• Maintains compliance with project budgets, turnaround times, and deadlines.

Qualifications

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Building Science, Architecture, or related field required.
  • 1+ years of experience with general business tax credit work, and related energy incentives preferred.
  • Valid Certified Public Accountant license or working towards obtaining CPA license preferred.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Knowledge of tax accounting principles, IRS regulations, and energy tax credit incentives and issues.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite including Word and PowerPoint. Strong skillset in Excel and Adobe Acrobat preferred.
  • Ability to read and review building plans and specifications.
  • Excellent technical writing and verbal skills.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and research skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, meeting deadlines by setting priorities with work projects.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and clients.
