Management Analyst III-AFSOC A5 Support
Job description
Overview
VTG is seeking a Management Analyst III to provide support to the C V-22 Product Support Manager (PSM) and Headquarters Air Force Special Operations Command A5 (AFSOC/A5) in support of C V-22 Requirements / Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) at Hurlburt Field, Florida .
What will you do?
- Provide in-service support to the CV-22 Requirements Office AFSOC/A5RX , Hurlburt Field , Florida .
- Specifically provide support duties as a Management Analyst III for AFSOC/A5RX .
- Develop and/or review studies which influence decisions on the need for contractor versus internal/organic logistics in sustaining major items and critical repair parts for new or enhanced systems .
- Prepare and review recommended proposals, adjustments, and realignments addressing system supportability to the ILS management team .
- Identify any critical problem areas, modify supportability milestones, and provide impact statements .
- Compile necessary logistical data and pre pare briefings f o r high level officials in HQ AFSOC, the V-22 Joint Program Office, or other components on the status of current and future logistics support programs .
- Participate, as a member of ILS management team, in planning conferences, system requirement and design reviews, special board reviews, or logistics in-process review conferences. For fielded systems, identify deficiencies associated with current systems, evaluate potential impacts of proposed replacement or modifications, and formulate changes for integration into logistic support plans .
- Plan, organize , and participate in qualification tests to verify the operability, suitability, and supportability of systems, support equipment, or automated test equipment .
- Provide technical expertise and oversight during development, in-process reviews, and verification of technical publications and Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals.

Education: Bachelor ’s degree.
Allowable Substitution: A Master ’s degree in a related technical discipline may be substituted for three ( 3 ) years ’ experience .
Experience - At least ten (10) years of experience in integrated ILS or Maintenance activity of aeronautical weapon systems acquisition programs . At least one (1) year of defense acquisition management experience must have been obtained within the last five (5) years.
Work hours will be in direct support of the client; therefore, hours may be fluid at times to meet customer/operational requirements . Work schedule flexibility is required .
This is a non- Service Contract Act (SCA) position.
DESIRABLE SKILLS/ABILITIES
Highly proficient with the Microsoft Professional Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, and Power Point; well-developed written and oral communication skills; ability to assess established business processes, identify/document business process problems and recommend business process improvement initiatives; strong team building skills and ability to develop and maintain a highly integrated network of team members required to successfully execute the C V-22 support mission .
Knowledge of the following areas is highly desirable: a) CV-22 Osprey Tiltrotor operations and maintenance experience ; b) Air Force aircraft requirements development ; c) NAVAIR E ngineering Change Pro posal (E CP ) Process
