JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Urology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: York, PA Service Setting: Clinic Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Aug 31, 2026 – Nov 30, 2026 Clinical Shift Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8a – 5p PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults (18+) Patient Volume/Census: 24-28 patients per day Case Mix: General Urology, including cystoscopy, vasectomy, lithotripsy, prostate procedures FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic Office Equipment Available: Cystoscope and towers, injections Support Staff Available: RNs: 1, MAs: 4, Office Staff: 1 Reason for Coverage: Ongoing coverage PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: Yes, with clean file Credentialing Timeline: 90 days REQUIRED PROCEDURES Vasectomy Cystoscopy (in OR) Prostate procedures Ureteroscopy (in OR) Penile plication Lithotripsy Orchiopexy JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active PA license or Universal License (IMLC) LOQ Board: BC or BE in Urology DEA: Required Experience: Minimum 1 year DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide outpatient urology clinic coverage, Monday – Friday, 8a – 5p Perform office-based procedures including cystoscopy, stent placements, vasectomy, prostate procedures, ureteroscopy, lithotripsy, and orchiopexy Manage patient volume of approximately 24-28 patients per day, mixing procedures and office visits Supervise and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management
