We are currently looking for a Senior Data Quality Management Analyst (Tech Business Analyst) to join a strategic Data Quality initiative within the banking sector. The role focuses on improving data quality across critical enterprise systems by leveraging cloud technologies, automation, advanced analytics and AI-driven capabilities.
You will work within international data and technology teams responsible for developing innovative data quality solutions that support strategic data platforms, enabling reliable, trusted and high-quality data across the organization.
The position combines business analysis, data quality management, cloud technologies, data analytics and automation, with a strong focus on innovation, problem-solving and collaboration with both technical and business stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with data owners, data engineers and business stakeholders to define data quality requirements and standards.
- Develop, automate and maintain data quality rules using Google Cloud Platform services.
- Investigate data quality issues, identify root causes and drive remediation activities.
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis, impact assessments and data profiling to identify trends, anomalies and improvement opportunities.
- Analyse complex datasets to uncover patterns and proactively identify potential risks.
- Drive assigned initiatives and projects, facilitating discussions and monitoring delivery progress.
- Communicate data quality findings, recommendations and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement of data quality processes, governance and automation initiatives.
- Utilize modern cloud and AI-enabled tools to improve the efficiency of data quality management.
- Contribute to the evolution of enterprise data quality practices and standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data-related roles such as Technical Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Data Management or Data Modelling.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services, particularly BigQuery, Cloud Storage and Looker Studio (formerly Data Studio), or equivalent cloud platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large and complex datasets.
- Experience in defining, implementing and monitoring data quality rules and controls.
- Understanding of cloud technologies and experience delivering cloud-based data solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics in a clear and concise way.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
- Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Openness to learning new technologies and working in an innovative environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with Python for ad-hoc analysis and automation.
- Familiarity with GenAI solutions applied to data analysis or data quality.
- Knowledge of data governance and enterprise data management frameworks.
- Experience working in large-scale financial services or enterprise environments.
- Understanding of data quality tooling and metadata management solutions.
