Job description
Job Summary Perform a variety of tasks in food and beverage processing facilities to support production and maintain product quality. The role involves manual work, basic equipment operation under supervision, and strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards. Number of Positions 6 Main Duties Operate and monitor food and beverage processing equipment and machinery under supervision. Sort, inspect and prepare raw materials and finished products for processing and packaging. Pack, label and palletize products according to packaging guidelines and production targets. Perform cleaning, sanitation and basic maintenance of work areas, equipment and utensils to meet hygiene standards. Conduct visual quality checks, remove non-conforming items and report issues to supervisors. Record production data, batch codes and maintain accurate production logs and inventory records. Requirements Secondary school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Previous experience in food, beverage or manufacturing environments is an asset. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks and lift moderate loads. Familiarity with food safety, sanitation and workplace safety practices or willingness to complete required training. Basic reading, numeracy and communication skills to follow instructions and record data. Availability to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends or overtime as required. Required Skills Attention to detail and adherence to quality standards. Manual dexterity and safe handling of equipment and materials. Teamwork and clear communication with colleagues and supervisors. Time management and ability to meet production targets. Basic troubleshooting skills and ability to learn standard operating procedures. Knowledge of food hygiene and sanitary practices.
