About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Senior Cloud Engineer to support a major enterprise digital transformation initiative in Riyadh. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in building, securing, and operating cloud environments across multi-cloud and hybrid infrastructures .

You will play a critical role in designing and deploying cloud platforms that support mission-critical systems, ensuring performance, security, and scalability at enterprise scale.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Deployment & Engineering

• Design and deploy secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP

• Build and configure cloud environments from the ground up (greenfield and existing environments)

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or similar

• Ensure environments are optimized for performance, resilience, and cost efficiency

Operations & Monitoring

• Monitor system performance and ensure adherence to SLAs and KPIs

• Manage day-to-day cloud operations, including incident response and issue resolution

• Implement and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Grafana)

• Continuously optimize cloud environments for reliability and efficiency

Security & Governance

• Configure identity and access management (IAM), policies, and security controls

• Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and governance frameworks

• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to mitigate risks and strengthen cloud posture

Integration & Hybrid Environments

• Support integration between on-premise infrastructure and cloud platforms

• Work across hybrid and multi-cloud architectures

• Ensure seamless connectivity, data flow, and system interoperability

Collaboration & Delivery

• Work closely with Cloud Architects, DevOps, and application teams

• Support delivery across multiple cloud initiatives and transformation projects

• Contribute to best practices, standards, and continuous improvement efforts

Candidate Profile

Required Experience

• 5–10+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, or related roles

• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

• Experience working in hybrid environments (cloud + on-premise)

• Strong understanding of networking, cloud architecture, and security principles

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Grafana)

• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates, or similar)

Preferred Qualifications

• Arabic language capability (preferred for stakeholder collaboration)

• Experience in large enterprise or government environments

• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation
