Remote German-Speaking Customer Care (Rental Cars)

Are you fluent in German and passionate about customer service? Join a well-known Rental Car Company project as a Customer Service Representative and assist customers with their inquiries in a dynamic and rewarding environment!

Location: Remote from mainland Portugal

Start Date: May 15, 2025

Contract Type: Permanent (3-month trial period)

Responsibilities

• Assist customers via phone, email, and chat regarding rental services
• Resolve inquiries related to reservations, billing, and policies
• Provide outstanding customer support and ensure customer satisfaction
• Work in a rotational shift schedule (including weekends)

Working Hours : 40 hours/week, 8 hours/day, following rotational shift pattern distributed in the following hours:

• Monday to Friday: rotational shifts between 07:00 AM 08:00 PM
• Saturday: 08:00 AM 04:00 PM
• Sunday: 08:00 AM 05:00 PM
• Two rotational days off per week

Requirements

• Fluency in German (C2 level or above), written and spoken
• Good command of English (B2 level or above), written and spoken
• Previous experience in customer service is an advantage but not mandatory
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle customer inquiries efficiently
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
• Availability to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Must be based in mainland Portugal-anywhere apart from Lisbon Metropolital area (no relocation assistance is provided for this role; if you need relocation, please apply and mention it separately and we will be able to offer you a different role with relocation help :)
