Job Title: Account Manager

Contractor Fee: $1,750-$2,000/month

Work Arrangement: Remote

Engagement Type: Independent Contractor

Commitment: Full-time (Approx. 40 hours/week)

About This Role

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for nurturing client relationships while identifying new business opportunities to grow existing accounts. This role blends account servicing with strategic outreach to maximize revenue and client satisfaction across key markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow existing B2B accounts by delivering excellent service and value

Respond to inquiries and provide timely, accurate quotes for products and services

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution and delivery

Proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to increase order volume

Conduct outreach via email, calls, and social media to engage new leads

Maintain accurate records of communication and pipeline activity using CRM tools

Stay informed on product updates, market trends, and client needs

Meet or exceed monthly revenue goals and client retention metrics

Software/Platforms/Tools

  • CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Stream CRM, Asana)

Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace

Communication tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom)

Qualifications

  • At least 3-5 years of freelancing experience

Minimum 3-5 years in sales, client management, or B2B account servicing

Excellent communication skills (video-call ready, C1/C2 proficiency)

Strong ability to build relationships and solve client problems proactively

Confident in handling outreach, quotes, and sales negotiations

Highly organized and dependable in a remote setting

Familiarity with digital wellness, DTC, or e-commerce is a plus
