Electrical Engineer (UPDA Grade:A)

Description Requirement

Company Overview: The company (Confidential) is a leading engineering firm specializing in electrical solutions for various industrial and commercial projects in Qatar. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trade Electrical Engineer to join our client as an Electrical Engineer. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, possess the necessary qualifications and certifications, and be ready to contribute to our ongoing and upcoming projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to understand project requirements and develop electrical engineering solutions.
• Design electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, control systems, and fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for electrical installations and supervise their implementation.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure quality control and safety standards are met.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to procure materials, equipment, and services necessary for project execution.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, resolve engineering-related challenges, and contribute to project reviews and evaluations.
• Prepare project reports, progress updates, and cost estimates, and participate in meetings with stakeholders to discuss project status and requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (B.Tech or B.E.) from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on project management and execution.
• Possession of Grade A UPDA (Urban Planning and Development Authority) and QCDD (Qatar Civil Defence Department) certifications is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, codes, standards, and practices, particularly related to construction and infrastructure projects.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software tools for electrical design and documentation.
• Previous experience working in Qatar or the Middle East region is preferred.
• Indian nationality is preferable, but candidates of other nationalities with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary range of 9000-11000 QAR (Full package including allowances and benefits).
• Immediate joining required, with a maximum notice period of 15 days. •
