Channel Sales Manager

Position : Channel Sales Manager
Job Family : Sales (FMCG)

Role Purpose
•
To manage a number of Distribution accounts. To be responsible for building FDCs business across all categories by leveraging the Distributor reach and salesforce.
Key Accountabilities
•
Design the monthly sales plan for his division in cooperation with the sales supervisors and within the guidelines set by the sales Director
•
Recommend to the sales Director sales plans & Strategies, policies and procedures related to achieving all set targets
•
Reports Market intelligence & Sales Teams performance to the Sales Director
•
Achieve targets (Sales and Collection) as set with sales management in accordance with the company's annual sales plan
•
Supervises the day-to-day operation of the Channel, to ensure that all company policies and procedures are respected
•
Ensures that supervisors and sales representatives are relaying the image of the company in the best way, by promoting the company's portfolio in a professional way to ensure proper distribution & penetration
•
Monitors the proper & effective merchandising and pricing of the company's portfolio in his Channel by conducting regular market visits
•
Controls the performance of his sales force through the comparison of actual vs. target, and advise supervisors in terms of guidelines and coaching
•
Provide on the job training to the sales supervisors and sales representatives and assist them in solving problems with clients, as well as issues with other departments within the company
•
Follows-up on accounts receivables in coordination with the sales supervisors and credit, and handles the cases of delayed payments
•
Conducts quarterly KPIs for all channels sales team
•
Ensures all business agreement are finalized on time & properly executed
Human Resources Management Department
•
Maintains good relations with other departments such as credit / billing and operations
•
Implements and controls marketing visibility campaigns or marketing plans
•
Extracts all needed information concerning sales, distribution of sales team to highlight progress of total business
Qualifications
•
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, or marketing or related field.
Experience
•
5 years experience in the FMCG field 3 of which ought to be at a managerial level.

Languages: Arabic, English (French is a plus)
•
Computer literacy: MS windows applications (Essential: Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint)
