Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our warehouse operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise Warehouse Staff: Lead and manage a team of warehouse employees, including warehouse workers, forklift operators, and other support staff.
• Operational Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and shipment of products, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, track stock movements, and investigate discrepancies.
• Safety and Security: Ensure a safe working environment, enforcing safety procedures and regulations, and maintaining warehouse security.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products are stored and handled correctly.
• Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to warehouse staff to improve performance and efficiency.
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports on warehouse operations, including inventory levels, shipping and receiving activities, and staff performance.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
• Experience: 2+ years of warehouse supervisory experience, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work in a team environment; proficiency in warehouse management software.
• Certifications: OSHA certification or equivalent; forklift certification a plus.
