About the Role

As a Reservations Assistant/Host, you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and seamless experience from reservation to check-out. Your role will involve managing reservations, assisting guests with their inquiries, and providing personalised service to enhance their stay. You will work closely with the front-of-house team to maintain the highest standards of hospitality and guest satisfaction.

Working Hours

5-day working week

40 hours per week

Shift work, including weekends and Bank holidays

Key Duties

Manage guest reservations efficiently using the hotel's booking system

Respond to guest inquiries via phone, email, and in-person

Provide detailed information about the hotel's services, facilities, and local attractions

Assist with check-in and check-out processes

Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally

Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction

Key Requirements

Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks

Proficiency in using reservation systems and Microsoft Office Suite

A friendly, approachable demeanor with a passion for delivering outstanding service
