React.js Developer - Equities Trading Systems

We are looking for a highly skilled React.js Developer to join our client's Equities Trading Technology team. This role involves working on front-end development for a high-performance trading system, supporting automation, and revamping existing applications. The ideal candidate should have strong Python skills, deep experience in React.js, and a solid understanding of order execution and equities trading.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end components for an equities trading platform using React.js.
• Work closely with traders, front-office teams, and backend developers to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
• Revamp and optimize existing trading systems to improve performance and user experience.
• Contribute to support automation systems, reducing manual interventions in trading operations.
• Implement best practices in OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) and ensure code quality through testing and reviews.
• Collaborate in agile development cycles, participating in stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint planning.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong expertise in React.js, with experience building scalable and high performance web applications.

Proficiency in Python, particularly in backend system development and automation.

• Experience working with trading systems, order execution workflows, and equities domain knowledge.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services.

Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and debugging techniques.
• Exposure to financial market concepts, trading platforms, and order management systems is a plus.
