Mechanical Design and Engineering Solutions Team Lead

An Well Known Engineering Solutions Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Mechanical Design and Engineering Solutions professional to join the team on a permanent , onsite basis. This is a pivotal role for an individual passionate about driving innovation and delivering exceptional mechanical engineering solutions. You will have the opportunity to lead and mentor a team, manage complex projects from conception to completion, and significantly contribute to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and review project requirements from the Sales team to ensure all technical details are complete before starting the design process.
• Assign daily tasks to the design team and follow up on progress based on project priorities and deadlines.
• Supervise the development of technical solutions in line with client requirements and approved specifications.
• Review load calculations, system selection, drawings, BOQs, Take-Off Sheets, and technical proposals before submission for approval.
• Prepare and review Take-Off Sheets and monitor any changes in materials, equipment, or project quantities.
• Coordinate with Sales, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Operations teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Support the Sales team in technical meetings, presentations, and discussions related to complex projects.
• Provide technical support during project implementation and ensure required changes are reflected in drawings and documents.
• Monitor the quality of design outputs and ensure compliance with approved technical standards.
• Guide, train, and support team members to improve their technical performance.
• Prepare regular technical and operational reports on project progress and design team outputs.

Required Qualifications

• 7–9 years of experience in designing HVAC systems, refrigeration systems, and engineering solutions.
• Proven experience in supervising design teams and reviewing their daily technical outputs.
• Strong experience in preparing and reviewing calculations, drawings, BOQs, Take-Off Sheets, and technical proposals.
• Experience in technical coordination with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain teams throughout project stages.
• Strong ability to follow up on technical modifications and ensure they are properly reflected in drawings, materials, and project deliverables.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and load calculation software such as HAP or Elite.
• Knowledge of Revit MEP or system/equipment selection software is preferred.
• Proficiency in using computers, Microsoft Office applications, and relevant office systems.
• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
