IT Applications Specialist - Workday

Hatzi Filax Group, on behalf of its client, a well-established organization currently investing in the modernization and digital transformation of its HR & Finance systems, is looking for an IT Applications Specialist – Workday to join their team.

The role reports to the IT Manager of the company , and will be someone who can own the Workday ecosystem end-to-end — from day-to-day user support and access management to reporting, integrations and continuous system improvement.

Indicative Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to Workday users
• Manage user access permissions and security roles
• Coordinate and support integrations between Workday and other systems, in collaboration with external consultants
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Collaborate closely with Payroll, Finance and HR departments, as well as external consultants
• Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, data analysis and custom reports
• Monitor data quality and perform system control checks
• Document processes and provide user training

The ideal candidate would possess

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Broad knowledge of business information systems and IT applications
• Strong knowledge of Workday, particularly in the Finance and HCM modules
• Understanding of APIs, JSON and XML
• Excellent command of English, written and spoken
• Strong organizational, coordination and analytical/problem-solving skills
• A team-oriented mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to have

• Advanced computer literacy across broader IT/business systems
• Prior experience supporting cross-departmental system rollouts or upgrades
• Completed military service obligations (for male candidates)
