IAM Cloud Engineer - PingOne Advanced Identity Cloud & Infrastructure (Freelance possible)

📋 Tasks and responsibilities

As Senior IAM Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical implementation, configuration, and infrastructure of a new IAM platform built on Ping/ForgeRock technologies. Reporting to the IAM Architect, you will translate architectural designs into a secure, resilient, and automated operational platform.

• Platform engineering: build, automate, and maintain the IAM platform using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Technical implementation: configure and deploy SAML, OIDC, SCIM, RBAC, and ABAC within the Ping/ForgeRock ecosystem.
• Infrastructure management: set up and manage version control, deployment pipelines, and development environments for IAM delivery.
• Application onboarding and integration: lead the technical onboarding of business applications and integrate them with the IAM platform.
• Resilience and recovery: implement RPO/RTO controls and set up disaster recovery for the IAM environment.
• Zero-Trust alignment: ensure the platform is implemented in line with the defined Zero-Trust architecture.
• Agile delivery: actively participate in Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

📝Your profile

• Background: experience as a DevOps / Cloud Engineer in an IAM context.
• Experience: at least 6 months of demonstrable experience in IAM engineering and infrastructure.
• Education: Master’s degree.
• Certifications: Certified Professional - PingAM, AI level 2 - Solution Engineer, and Safeguard - Technical Specialist.
• Agile mindset: proven experience working in Scrum or Kanban teams, with the ability to deliver Definition of Done-compliant code and documentation.
• Tooling and DevOps: strong knowledge of Git, CI/CD workflows, and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Cloud and IAM stack: specific experience with PingOne Advanced Identity Cloud is highly preferred.
• Technical skills: strong JavaScript skills are essential, together with experience in Microsoft Azure Kubernetes Service, One Identity Safeguard, Ping Identity Platform, PingAM, PingDS, PingIDM, and PingIG.
• Agile tooling: experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
• Languages: Dutch, English, and French.
