Job Summary

We are looking for a Sustainability Manager to lead environmental performance for a large Hyperscale Data Center project here in the Philippines. In this role, you will tackle the unique challenges of , including massive energy demands and heat rejection. You will be responsible for driving our path to Net Zero, managing large-scale water stewardship programs, electrical usage and ensuring our infrastructure meets the highest global efficiency standards during construction phase.

Industry-Specific Responsibilities

• Thermal & Power Efficiency: Partner with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) engineers to optimize WUE (Water Usage Effectiveness) metrics during the construction phase
• Waste Disposal: Work with General Contractor and Subcontractor’s to achieve 90% waste recyclable initiatives.
• Certifications: Certifications or experience in delivering LEED Gold/Platinum projects, ISO 50001 (Energy Management), and ISO 14001.
• Community Impact: Manage local environmental permits and noise/heat mitigation concerns for surrounding communities.

Required Technical Qualifications

• Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of data center building concepts and construction techniques.
• Scope 3 Leadership: Experience tracking the embodied carbon of construction materials (concrete, steel) and silicon-based hardware.
• Education: Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Physics preferred.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Meet a 90% recyclable KPI
• Percentage of renewable energy matching (hourly or annual). (Construction Phase)
• Water Replenishment targets in water-stressed regions.

Zero-waste-to-landfill for e-waste operations.
