People-Focused HR Manager – Shaping Culture in a High-Tech Environment

From Vantor’s R&D hub in Ebbepark, Linköping, our team of around 80 engineers develops cutting-edge technology that delivers highly accurate, immersive 3D geospatial data and software used across telecommunications, emergency response, defense, and intelligence. Our solutions empower decision-makers worldwide with a deeper understanding of the world around them.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on HR Manager to lead all HR activities in Sweden. As the local HR lead, you’ll have a broad and impactful role — combining operational HR ownership with strategic business partnering.

You’ll work closely with managers, leaders, and employees to strengthen engagement, support leadership, and help build a high-performing culture that enables innovation and growth. You’ll also ensure local HR practices align with global strategies from our US-based parent company while remaining fully compliant with Swedish labor law and employment practices.

In addition to leading HR activities in Sweden, the role may also support broader HR initiatives and operational activities across other international locations as the organization continues to grow. This could include partnering on global HR projects, supporting managers outside Sweden, and contributing to the development of scalable people processes across the wider business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive the full employee lifecycle — from employer branding, recruitment, and onboarding to development, engagement, retention, and offboarding
  • Own and develop core HR processes including performance management, salary reviews, work environment activities, and annual HR cycles aligned with Swedish practices and global frameworks
  • Act as a trusted HR Business Partner to managers and employees, supporting leadership development, performance management, employee relations, and organizational growth
  • Ensure compliance with Swedish labor law, work environment regulations, collective agreements, and HR policies, including collaboration and negotiations with union representatives
  • Partner closely with global HR and leadership teams to translate global initiatives into effective local execution and provide guidance on Swedish employment practices
  • Support selected HR initiatives and people operations across other international locations, partnering with global HR and business leaders as the company continues to grow

We’re Looking For Someone Who

  • Has broad HR experience spanning both operational and strategic HR work, ideally in an HR Business Partner and/or standalone HR role with significant ownership
  • Brings a strong business-partnering mindset and enjoys building close relationships across the organization
  • Has solid knowledge of Swedish labor law, work environment regulations, and union relations
  • Understands the dynamics of international organizations and can balance global initiatives with local culture and needs
  • Enjoys working in an international environment and is motivated by contributing beyond the local organization when needed
  • Is confident driving HR processes and initiatives independently
  • Is proactive, relationship-driven, and business-oriented, with strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Communicates fluently in both Swedish and English
  • Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR Management or a related field
