Overview

This position supports the Family Housing Annex to include field supervision and ensures housing inspections are up to date, kept clean, and safe for all tenants

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily information regarding work status and on-going progress in the 1401000 Annex.
  • Performs Change of Occupancy Maintenance inspections (pre- & final), both with V2X and the USG.
  • Maintain an accurate work order log as well as submitting and closing out work orders.
  • Receives guidance and direction as necessary from the Family Housing Manager with regards to policies.
  • Must be fluent in written and oral English and present in courteous manner, duties require frequent interaction with government representatives.
  • May be required to act as direct supervisor in the absence of the Family Housing Manager.
  • Inspections are to be conducted regarding physical work performed and Maximo spot checking regarding work order compliance and response.
  • Responsible for the upkeep of assigned PPE, tools, equipment, vehicles etc. and is liable to turn in for scheduled maintenance or when identified faulty.
  • Responsible for updating work orders using either a tablet, computer and/or handwritten on paper workorder.
  • Updates included changing the work order status, inputting a log, requesting material and time performance.
  • Performs general housekeeping when working on site. May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
  • May be required to work weekends, holidays, early and late shifts.

Qualifications

Qualifications: Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalate
  • Must be able to successfully obtain all required certifications per the Performance Work Statement within 180 days upon arrival at NSGB Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience in housing with leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience in inspection and maintenance logs for housing
  • Experience with Maximo preferred
  • Placing work orders Skills:
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Must speck, read and write English, including providing and receiving direction in English.
  • Must have strong computer skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Work Environment:
  • Mostly working in an office environment, required to do house inspections
  • Exposure to environmental changes such as extreme heat and humidity
  • PPE is required in designated areas and around equipment.
