Overview
***This position is physically located in the Marshall Islands in support of LOGCAP***
The Medical Warehouse Manager oversees the operation of the medical supply warehouse, including inventory management, procurement, storage, distribution, and tracking of medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and equipment. This role ensures accurate stock control, timely resupply of clinical units, and compliance with all applicable regulatory and safety standards.

- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receipt, storage, and distribution of medical supplies and equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, stock levels, and documentation in electronic inventory management systems.
- Monitor expiration dates of medications, supplies, and critical equipment; perform proper disposal of expired or damaged items.
- Coordinate with medical, pharmacy, and logistics staff to ensure timely resupply of clinical units.
- Implement warehouse organization, labeling, and storage standards in accordance with safety regulations.
- Supervise warehouse personnel, assign duties, provide training, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, OSHA standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Participate in audits, quality assurance, and process improvement initiatives.
- Prepare reports on inventory status, usage trends, and operational metrics for management.
- Maintain security and access control for the warehouse, safeguarding controlled and high-value items.
- Coordinate incoming shipments, customs clearance, and transportation logistics for deployed operations.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in medical supply, pharmaceutical, or warehouse management.
- Experience in deployed, military, or operational environments preferred.
- Certification / Licensure:
- Certification in supply chain, logistics, or inventory management preferred (e.g., Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified Logistics Technician (CLT)) DMLSS, NIPR, MAXIMO
- Skills
- Expertise in warehouse operations, supply chain management, and inventory control.
- Knowledge of medical supply handling, storage, and distribution standards.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems and basic office software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in operational or deployed environments.
- Understanding of healthcare supply needs and regulatory compliance.
- Working Conditions:
- Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, wet, tropical environment with average temperatures of 130 degrees in the summer months).
- Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.
- The worker is subject to hazards. Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals
- The worker is subject to atmospheric conditions. One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system of the skin: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.
- Physical Requirements:
- Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.
- Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
- Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
