About the role We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Social Media and Communications Intern to support our Social Media and Communications Manager. This role is ideal for a college student passionate about digital media, social media and communication strategy. You’ll play a key part researching, prepping, organizing, and contributing to both internal and external communication efforts. Department: Digital Marketing Mentor's Title: Manager, Social Media Marketing and Communications Start Date: Immediate Compensation: Paid Responsibilities Assist with drafting content for social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, X, etc.). Conduct research industry trends, competitors, and audience engagement. Collaborate in preparing content calendars and organizing content within Sprout Social. Support community management by monitoring comments and messages and flagging for response. Generate basic social media and campaign performance reports using analytics tools. Assist with internal communications via SharePoint, including posting announcements, news, updates, and team materials. Contribute to influencer research and vetting using Tagger (e.g. identifying potential partners, gathering performance data.) Capturing content during events for social media posts and internal communications. Qualifications Must have good organizational, teamwork and communication skills Must be detail-oriented and creative. Must be proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word.
