Job Overview The Inventory Manager will oversee all aspects of inventory management at our warehouse in Igando. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience, with expertise in Zoho Inventory, Excel, and a strong ability to organize and streamline inventory processes. This role requires excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient stock management and reporting. Key Responsibilities Inventory Management: Prepare purchase orders and ensure accurate receiving, storing, and issuing of goods. Maintain stock levels and manage supplies from inventory. Regularly update inventory records using computerized systems such as Zoho Inventory. Stock Control: Conduct routine stock-taking and confirm periodic stock levels with designated staff. Reconcile physical stock with system records to ensure accuracy. Manage and report adjustments for damaged, spoilt, or obsolete inventory. Warehouse Organization: Oversee the systematic arrangement of refrigerators and other stock items for easy storage and retrieval. Ensure stock is physically protected and securely stored in the warehouse. Supervision and Coordination: Supervise offloading, arrangement, and consignment of goods. Manage procedures related to offloading, packing, and unpacking of items. Monitor and evaluate supplier quotes and ensure timely procurement. Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of receipts and issuance of goods from the warehouse. Prepare detailed reports on stock adjustments and warehouse activities. Stock Valuation and Disposal: Ensure accurate valuation of inventory. Manage the disposal of surplus or obsolete stock in a timely manner. Requirements Qualifications and Skills Experience: 5+ years in inventory management, preferably in a warehouse setting. Technical Skills: Proficient in Zoho Inventory and Excel, with experience using other computerized inventory systems. Analytical Abilities: Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze inventory data. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Organization: Ability to organize stock effectively Leadership: Proven ability to supervise staff and manage day-to-day inventory activities. Key Attributes Strong problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy. Proactive and able to work under minimal supervision. Ability to meet deadlines and handle high-pressure situations. Additional Requirements Familiarity with stock protection and warehouse safety standards. Experience coordinating with suppliers and managing procurement processes. Ability to prepare comprehensive inventory reports for management.
