Salary: 1200 - 1440 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: elastic hybrid from Kraków (2/3 days per week from the office)

Project

We are looking for an experienced Hardware Architect Engineer to join a global engineering team working on next-generation automotive power electronics for electric vehicles (EV) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) platforms.

You will play a key role in translating customer requirements into scalable, production-ready hardware solutions for systems such as inverters, electronic control units (ECUs), and onboard chargers .

Responsibilities you'll have

• Analyze and manage customer hardware requirements and collaborate with international stakeholders
• Translate requirements into detailed hardware architecture, system design, and interfaces
• Decompose requirements into architectural blocks and coordinate with electronics, mechanical, validation, and manufacturing teams
• Create and maintain Product Definition Documents and manage engineering changes
• Define and develop requirements for embedded test software
• Design hardware functional test plans , test setups, and validation benches
• Perform hardware functional testing at bench level
• Support EMC and environmental validation activities
• Provide technical support for manufacturing processes and production changes
• Assist in customer validation programs and troubleshooting activities
• Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives

Expected competences and knowledge

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive electronics or e-Mobility hardware
• Strong understanding of embedded hardware systems
• Experience with system-level architecture design
• Familiarity with problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, RCA)
• Knowledge of AIAG/VDA FMEA and ISO 26262 (nice to have)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to combine high-level system thinking with attention to detail
• Fluent English (German or French is a plus)
