About The Role
NIQ/GFK are looking for a customer-focused and analytical Sales Executive to join our Nordic FMCG team, based in Copenhagen, Oslo or Stockholm. In this role, you will drive sales of global data to our Nordic clients, helping them unlock value through data-driven insights and consultancy in export markets or through distributors. You will work with some of the most innovative brands in the FMCG, building long-term partnerships and driving client satisfaction.
This is a commercially driven role where you will coordinate with cross-functional teams across the globe, delivering impactful solutions and measurable results. You’ll be part of a dynamic, international environment that values integrity, responsibility, and passion.
Focused on accelerating organic growth, the role generates revenue opportunities by contacting existing clients, leads and prospects.
Your Responsibilities
Own and grow a portfolio of strategic clients in the Nordic region
Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and challenges
Target new clients via different channels and grow the business within the existing client portfolio, prioritize client visits based on sales potential and build a sustainable external network;
Create compelling client proposals and lead client negotiation. Execute end-to-end sales process from feasibility analysis to final agreement in our CRM system
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions
Drive client satisfaction and retention through proactive engagement and problem-solving
Monitor progress against revenue target with tenacity and course correct quickly where necessary by making maximum use of the available CRM tools.
A Little Bit About You
Your Qualifications
Are you a high-energy self-starter, curious, passionate about sales, growth, building relationships and new business opportunities?
Do you enjoy contributing to the great FMCG Sales Team result by having individual impact to make the difference?
Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree in Business or Marketing, preferred
Proven sales experience, with strong commercial and relationship management skills
Easy connecting with (potential) clients and ability to build and maintain own network among assigned clients & prospects
Both short-term and long-term results oriented
A few years of relevant Sales experience in FMCG
Fluent in one Nordic language (Norwegian, Swedish, or Danish) preferable
Strong proficiency in English (written and oral)
You Are
Excellent at building and maintaining relationships with C-Level
Analytical and data savvy - Detail oriented and accurate
Curious, structured, and solution-oriented
Comfortable presenting insights and driving commercial conversations
A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment
Motivated by performance and delivering value to clients
What We Offer
- 480,000 - 560,000 DKK Annually. Placement within the range will depend on objective criteria including experience, skills, and internal equity considerations. We are committed to equal pay and pay transparency. Remuneration decisions are made using gender-neutral and objective criteria.
- In addition, a variable remuneration, for example in the form of a performance or sales related bonus, will be granted for this position.
