Monitoring Expert
Job description
What will you do?
As a Monitoring Expert, you ensure that bpost meets all legal, regulatory, and internal compliance requirements through continuous oversight and evaluation.
In this role, you design, implement, and manage monitoring systems that detect, assess, and mitigate compliance risks.
You analyze data, conduct internal audits, and report key findings to senior management to ensure operations align with compliance obligations and industry best practices.
You also identify areas for improvement and support the development of corrective actions, strengthening the organization’s overall compliance framework.
- Develop and maintain systems to monitor compliance with regulations, internal policies, and industry standards.
- Set KPIs and metrics to assess compliance performance and conduct regular risk assessments.
- Review the effectiveness of existing controls and recommend improvements.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret compliance-related data, preparing reports and dashboards for senior management.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data trends.
- Plan and execute compliance audits across departments, document findings, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Deliver training and promote a strong compliance culture throughout the organization.
- Collaborate with Legal, Risk Management, Internal Audit, and other teams to ensure comprehensive monitoring.
- Update monitoring processes in line with regulatory changes and adopt best practices.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all compliance activities.
- Serve as the main contact for internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support. <>
Who are you?
In your role as Monitoring Expert, you are a dynamic team player who combines strong strategic thinking with an innovative and creative mindset. We value the following qualities:
- You have at least three years of experience in compliance monitoring, with a solid understanding of the regulatory and monitoring frameworks relevant to bpost.
- You are comfortable working with Excel and can create clear, meaningful reports that show top management the progress of our compliance program.
- You bring strong business acumen and a commitment to high ethical standards.
- You think analytically, approach challenges with a problem-solving mindset, and make sound judgments.
- You work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- You demonstrate excellent organizational skills and can manage and prioritize multiple tasks at once.
- You communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, in English and in French and/or Dutch. <>
