Lounge Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate all technical equipment in the lounges, including audio, lighting, and video systems
• Set up and test equipment before each performance or event
• Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during performances or events
• Work closely with the entertainment team to ensure all technical requirements are met for each performance
• Keep inventory of all equipment and ensure it is properly maintained and stored
• Collaborate with the onboard technical team to ensure all equipment is in good working condition and any necessary repairs or replacements are made in a timely manner
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in technology and make recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a cruise ship or entertainment environment
• Strong knowledge of audio, lighting, and video systems
• Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and software
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
