Data Analyst/ Business Analyst

Position DATA ANALYST OR BUSINESS ANALYST

Location: Karachi Budget: 200k Contract 1- year or 2 years bonding.

Key Responsibilities

• Understanding of Development of IFRS-9 Expected Credit Loss modeling for PDs, LGD, along with Basel Guidelines.
• Excellent understanding of machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques and algorithms,
• Develop and implement statistical models and algorithms to identify, quantify, and predict enterprise risks.
• Analyze large datasets to uncover trends and patterns related to risk exposure.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand risk management needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Prepare and present data visualizations and reports that communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk management strategies and adjust models as necessary.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in risk management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Data Science.
• 0-2 years of working experience in the role.
• Proven experience in data analysis, statistical modelling, and machine learning techniques.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the financial institutions in the enterprise risk management function is a plus.
• Knowledge of enterprise risk management frameworks
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance issues.
