Role Summary We are looking for someone who combines a strong technical background with a natural sales and advisory mindset. The Lead Architect will be responsible for designing modern, scalable, and commercially attractive solutions, primarily in the cloud domain, but also across infrastructure, data management, and software. This is a key role in driving new business and supporting strategic sales processes. We are looking for someone who can understand client needs, translate them into solution architecture, prepare offers, and guide clients through the technical aspects of the decision-making process. This is not a role for a purely delivery-focused architect — the ideal candidate is a technical professional who feels comfortable in client-facing discussions, offer creation, and building business value.

What you will do: Act as the primary technical partner for Sales Managers, Client Executives, and clients throughout the sales process Analyze client business and technical needs, identifying key requirements, risks, and constraints Define solution strategies aligned with client expectations, win strategy, and Billennium’s delivery capabilities Design high-level solution architectures for cloud and related areas: infrastructure, data, integrations, and applications Prepare offers, RFI/RFP responses, scopes of work, architectural assumptions, estimations, and technical inputs for pricing Co-create cost models and ensure an optimal cost-benefit balance of proposed solutions Lead discovery workshops, technical presentations, demos, and clarification sessions with clients Support negotiations from a technical perspective and participate in solution defense with clients and internal stakeholders Collaborate with domain experts, architects, and delivery teams to refine and validate solutions Coordinate the input of SMEs and other architects involved in the offering process Ensure smooth handover of won solutions to transition/delivery teams, including full business and technical context Build and develop solutioning standards, reusable assets, reference architectures, and sales-support materials In a lead capacity: mentor less experienced architects/consultants and, over time, coordinate a small team reporting into this role

Reguirments: Minimum 7–10 years of experience in IT , including several years in roles such as Solution Architect, Cloud Architect, Presales Architect, Technical Consultant, or similar Experience in pre-sales / solutioning / bid management support — we are looking for someone who has actively co-created offers and engaged with clients, not only designed solutions on the delivery side Strong knowledge of at least one public cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or GCP ; preferably Azure or multi-cloud environments Experience in designing solutions across cloud, hybrid infrastructure, security, integration, data platforms, or modern application environments Ability to engage with clients on both technical and business levels and translate complex technological concepts into business value Experience in preparing presentations, workshops, offers, Statements of Work (SoW), RFI/RFP responses, and pricing materials Good understanding of areas such as cloud architecture, migrations, modernization, security, governance, cost optimization, integrations, and data management Ability to work cross-functionally with sales teams, delivery, technology partners, and domain experts Leadership maturity: ability to set direction, mentor others, coordinate contributions, and make architectural decisions Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Proficiency in both Polish and English , enabling effective client communication, offer preparation, and meeting facilitation
