Division Leadership
- End-to-end responsible for RAN, FAN, Fixed Network (FN) and Platforms, Transport Network design, planning and technical expertise
- Lead RAN, FAN, FN & Platforms and Transport activities
- Lead RAN, FAN, FN & Platforms and Transport Planning & Design
- Lead Networks Optimization management
- Establish engineering standards, design policies, and quality frameworks
- Drive AI/ML, automation, and Network Reliability Engineering initiative
- Manage Access Network & Transport budget
Vendor & Program Management
- Manage relationships with vendors (incl. technical solutions and design, feature releases, software governance, etc.)
- Technical lead for RFPs, technical evaluations, vendor selection, and performance governance
- Ensure projects deliver on time, within budget, and to quality standards
Team Leadership
- Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing team of network planning and engineering professionals
- Create career development paths and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Skilled people manager with at least 7 years of experience in leadership position in telecommunications, experience in large scale telco networks operations would be a plus.
- Strong experience in RAN, FAN, FN & Platforms and transport network (Mobile 2G-5G, FTTx, Transport/Backbone, IP/MPLS, MW & Optical Transmission (DWDM), SeGW, IPTV/OTT, VoIP) technologies
- Proven leadership experience in managing complex technical projects in RAN, Backhaul/MBH, FAN/FN & Platforms and transport programs, cross-functional engineering and operation teams
- Strong understanding of 3GPP architectures and RAN, FAN, FN & Platforms and transport network evolution, architecture, network dimensioning and capacity management
- Strong understanding of RAN, FAN, FN & Platforms and transport transformation trends including Network Reliability Engineering and automation, virtualization and AI-driven optimization
- Good understanding of Telco business model and operations.
