Senior BI & Reporting Specialist (Database-Focused)

- Hybrid or fully remote (depending on location)
- Global role with minimal time-zone flexibility
- Travel up to ~20%, project-based
- No on-call duty
Organisation/Department We are looking for a Senior BI & Reporting Specialist with strong database-level understanding, who will take end-to-end ownership of global reporting solutions, with Power BI as a key platform.
This role focuses on building, operating, and continuously improving reporting solutions by working closely with integration teams, source system owners, and business stakeholders across regions. This is not a classic DBA role, but a BI-focused, data-centric position with a global scope.
Job description BI & Reporting
•
Own Power BI reporting solutions end-to-end (design, build, operate)
•
Build new reporting setups from scratch, especially for newly acquired entities
•
Translate business needs (commercial, financial, operational) into reporting solutions
•
Design data models optimized for analytics and reporting
Data & Databases
•
Work with multiple database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
•
Collaborate with integration teams handling multi-source data ingestion (FTP, servers, data pools)
•
Understand source systems and ensure data quality for reporting
Stakeholder & Global Collaboration
•
Act as a bridge between business, IT, and integration teams
•
Collect, structure, and prioritize global reporting requirements
•
Support stakeholders across regions with reasonable time-zone flexibility
Projects & Improvement
•
Lead reporting projects for new brands and regions
•
Improve existing BI methodologies and tools
•
Support additional data-related initiatives where needed
Requirements •
4–5+ years in BI, reporting, data analytics, or database-related roles
•
Strong Power BI experience
•
Solid SQL and relational database knowledge
•
Experience working with multiple data sources and stakeholders
