Job description

The Human Resources Executive will support the day-to-day operations of the HR function, helping to create an exceptional employee experience from recruitment through to offboarding. This is an exciting opportunity for an entry-level HR professional or recent graduate to build a solid foundation in all areas of Human Resources within a fast-paced, tech-driven organisation. Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Onboarding Assist with posting job vacancies on Jobberman and other relevant platforms. Screen CVs, schedule interviews, and coordinate with hiring managers. Support the onboarding process for new employees, including documentation and orientation. Maintain and update the applicant tracking system and recruitment records. Employee Records & HR Administration Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files and HR databases. Prepare employment letters, contracts, confirmation letters, and other HR documents. Track staff attendance, leave records, and ensure timely updates. Assist in processing payroll inputs and liaising with the finance team. Employee Relations & Engagement Serve as a point of contact for employee queries on HR policies and procedures. Support the planning and coordination of staff engagement activities and recognition programmes. Assist in conducting exit interviews and compiling feedback reports. Compliance & Policy Ensure HR processes comply with Ghana Labour Act (Act 651) and company policies. Support the review and communication of HR policies and employee handbook updates. Assist in maintaining statutory HR records and filing returns as required. Learning & Development Coordinate logistics for training programmes, workshops, and team learning sessions. Track employee training completion and update development records. Research and recommend relevant L&D resources for staff. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field. 0 – 2 years of experience in an HR role; internship or national service experience in HR is an advantage. Basic understanding of Ghana Labour Law and HR best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Familiarity with any HRMS or ATS platform is a plus (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, or similar). Membership or student membership of IHRMP Ghana or CIPD is an added advantage. Core Competencies People & Soft Skills Technical Skills Strong communication skills (verbal & written) Empathy, tact, and emotional intelligence Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times Team player with a proactive attitude Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) HR record keeping and documentation Basic knowledge of Ghana Labour Act Report writing and data entry HRMS / ATS platforms (a plus)
